a) Sending newsletters

The data will be processed exclusively to send periodic newsletters about the Foundation’s initiatives and activities, including awareness and fundraising campaigns, and occasional newsletters with general or urgent information.

The legal basis for processing is consent [Article 6(1)(a) GDPR].

4. Processing methods and principles

The processing will comply with GDPR and Legislative Decree No. 196/03 (“Personal Data Protection Code”), following principles of lawfulness, fairness, transparency, adequacy, and relevance. It will be carried out electronically by authorized personnel of the Foundation, with adequate protective measures in place to ensure data security. No automated decision-making processes will be applied.

5. Categories of third parties to whom the data may be disclosed

The data may be shared with all entities responsible for collecting and storing data electronically, distributing communications, newsletters, and managing mailing lists. If necessary, external entities handling the described IT services will be appointed as Data Processors under Article 28 GDPR.

Your data will only be processed for the time necessary to fulfill the purposes mentioned above. Specifically, personal data will be retained and used for the time required to send periodic newsletters and will be deleted upon withdrawal of subscription to the newsletter.

The collected data will not be transferred to non-EU countries.
